Cava doesn't render at all in alacritty terminal

I use cava from homebrew

Screen.Recording.2022-08-15.at.1.15.44.0.00-16.17.compressed.mp4

I don't think it's because something is wrong in my alacritty config, since it never worked and even when i removed the config and ran alacritty on the dafault config it didn't work.

I use macOS monterey 12.5 (yes that is macOS, i have a custom bar)

I know cava is not supposed to work in the default terminal.app, but i have seen a bunch of people running cava inside alacritty.

looks like #399, have you checked the locale settings when in alacritty?

Hi, sorry for the REALLY late reply. I ran "LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 cava" but nothing changed. I pasted the output of locale to the terminal from someone that got it working and nothing.
