I'd like to see the top of bars with ~80% height, e.g. in red (like many other visualizers do, like this

is that possible?

@XorgMC work on this has actually already begun. Look in the branch called multicolored. I imagine some kind of custom setting for 20% parts of the bars like:

0-20: color 1
20-40: color 2
...

It sure is possible, but I haven't gotten around to it yet, pluss I'm not sure how nice it will look becuse of how cava works with the "block" charchters. And the fact that number of colors is limited in the terminal.

works pretty nice for me (KDE5, Manjaro Linux, in Konsole and xterm)
