Hi,

openstreetmap.se had a hard disk crash the other day. The whole domain is currently down, we're not receiving emails or anything. It might be down for a little while. It's a single physical server running a hypervisor. It's lacking both backups and fallback server at downtime.

Any status on the disk crash?

The server is at least booting now, but I'm afraid we don't have the time required to sit down and figure out what really went wrong. We are volunteers working this server on our spare time. To avoid losing data we don't dare just starting everything up again. Expect it to be down for at least one more week. Once all services are up again we'll have to start looking at rebuilding the server with new disks. As soon as we're able to fund 3x4TB EVO 860s the server will probably go down again for a while for maintanence. The server is 7 years old and in dire need of some love.
