How does this library's code detect that a file has been uploaded? Something to do with xhr? I've been trying to read through the code, but I haven't been able to parse it out that way.

I didn't want to file a new issue because it's not really a question about using this library. This issue already existed and seems like the right topic. Wasn't sure where would be a better place to put the question.
