msgpack.decode(new Buffer(''))

throws an Error, without a message or a stack.

I inspected it in the node REPL:

> strangeError
[Error]
> strangeError.stack
undefined
> strangeError.name
'Error'
> strangeError.message
''
> strangeError instanceof Error
true
