By default, the Monoceros server will create a file in the standard tempdir for its stats. If the server is long-running, the Linux /tmp cleaner (tmpwatch) will clear out the stats file, causing the server to die at https://github.com/kazeburo/Monoceros/blob/master/lib/Monoceros/Server.pm#L482

I'm going to work around the problem for now by modifying the tmpwatch to exclude the monoceros_stats file.
