Overview

When attempting to add a Yubikey challenge response, interface always says "No hardware keys detected".

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create new database
  2. Enable Challenge Response
  3. Initial message says "No hardware key detected". Also occurs when you hit refresh.

Expected Behavior

KeepPassXC should detect my yubikey

Actual Behavior

Challenge response says "No hardware keys detected"

Context

Using Yubikey 5 NFC
Firmware: v5.2.6
Tried starting KeePassXC with admin privileges.
Tried inserting key first and then booting KeePassXC.
Tried starting KeePassXC first and then inserting Yubikey.
Yubikey detectable using Yubico Authenticator, and Yubikey Manager
Other websites where I use the security key to login all detect it fine.
YubiKey manager shows a valid serial number / able to edit settings.

KeePassXC - 2.7.1
Revision: 5916a8f

Operating System: Windows

Just an edit, since I've been peeling away at searches.

I found a solution to get my Yubikey to appear. I may have missed these steps if they were posted elsewhere, but this definitely made it work:

https://www.reddit.com/r/KeePass/comments/opx34q/keepassxc_and_yubikeys_setting_up_the/

Once I configured slot 2 with the proper command, I went back to KeePassXC and it detected properly.

Sorry for the premature ticket, but hopefully this will help someone else.
