project status in 2020

I started using this lib a few days ago, I also posted a small post on SO cause I couldn't find it from there:

it turns out somebody noticed that this project didn't get any commit since 2015. This is not really an issue for me, since so far everything works, but I'd like to know: what's the status of this?
