win 7 ultimate

kbfsdokan.exe cannot be killed - even the pid stays the same
upd.exe can be killed but spawnes again with a new pid

If you touch/try to open K:\.kbfs_unmount kbfsdokan will exit. Of course the service can restart it after an exit.
