Use a check instead of name change in context menu

Just a suggestion, other options like auto-join use a check for enabling/disabling but hide-chat will rename between 'hide' and 'do not hide' instead.

Switching back to "New" as "Opinion" hides the bug.

I saw the bug. ;) Afair it is not possible for plugins to have check box context menu entries. But I have to check it again as soon as I have sparetime (which is rare these days unfortunately).

Of course patches are welcome too. ;)

I re-checked the documentation and source code of libpurple/Pidgin. This cannot be done.
