Feature Request: Kimchi should allow the user to enable/disable guest autostart.

Currently Kimchi does not provide a way for the user to control whether or not a guest will boot alongside the host. It should do so. This feature would make it easy to ensure that guests are online after a reboot.

Please see how another project (webvirtmgr) has surfaced this option below.

Thanks!

Hi @overcookedTOFU

Yeap! I agree it is an important feature. As we are on code freeze for 2.1 release, it may be part of the next Kimchi releases.

I am really looking forward to this. Is there any way I can achieve this in current kimchi version?

Hello,
Just for the record, I created a fork that implements a patch initially proposed by @biancafc. I just added an 'Enable Autostart' checkbox in the guest edit form.
Not intensively tested, but works in my case : no need to use virt-manager anylonger, just to enable autostart on my guests ;-)

@moxide I've been eagerly awaiting this feature! Do you mind submitting a patch to the kimchi mailing list? Check out the wiki for details about how to contribute: https://github.com/kimchi-project/wok/wiki/How-to-Contribute#submitting-changes
