Blurry output #407
Comments
One of my test environments is M2 Macbook Air and I couldn't reproduce this issue on it. |
MacBook Air (M1, 2020) on Big Sur and 13.3-inch so 2560 × 1600 with everything set using the defaults. |
That's a portion of the colour palette demo, if you zoom in you can all text and shapes are given a darker shade border/anti-aliased, not sure if this is due to the retina display? Maybe it's just me but my eyes just seem to really notice it and it gives a softer/blurry look rather than a crisp edge. After checking it seems PICO-8 and TIC80 also behave the similarly. I've taken screenshots while using other applications and a game I'm working on in LÖVE and it seems to only be an issue with Pyxel, PICO-8, and TIC80. |
@notbored Does the situation changed on Pyxel2+? |
Given the unclear situation and the significant changes in SDL implementation in Pyxel 2, this issue will be closed. |
I'm getting a blurry output for everything. I've tried changing display scale and size with no improvement
I'm on a M1 Macbook so not sure if it might be something to do with the resolution/display.
