delete dataset #97
Comments
On that same topic, we could envision similar top button add-on such as a girder browser which could provide a "gallery" type of view for datasets to load using the CinemaTumbnail for enabling data preview before selecting them for load. |
Having a central button that then list items breaks the item-centric
paradigm that is currently driving the PVG interface. I'd like to keep
having properties and actions being tied to items rather than actions then
needing to specify which items they apply to.
I think the triple-dot menu that calls up delete is fine for now. Let's
learn more about common workflows as people use PVG and then we can
determine if more actions are needed under the triple dot, how to better
delineate how properties are grouped under items, and such.

An option could be to remove the delete from the left control and instead provide a delete button from to top bar which could bring the list of dataset with a quick
select all
with two action buttonsCancel
andDelete selected
