Describe the bug
After the latest update, the tab switcher button is missing. Swiping up or down on the toolbar doesn't open the tab menu either.

To Reproduce
Update browser to latest version.

Expected behavior
Tab switcher button should be next to the address bar.

This issue appears to only affect tablets, or perhaps older versions of Android. I'm not sure which.

I have two devices: a phone on Android 12, and a tablet on Android 9 (FireOS).

On the phone, it works as expected.

On the tablet, multiple features are missing or inoperable, all related to tabs.

  1. Tab switcher is missing
  2. Toolbar can't be on bottom
  3. Tab groups are unavailable (since the tab switcher is unavailable)

Is this by design, for larger screens? Or an unintended regression?

I'd really like to be able to use the full feature set on my tablet.

Ok, while I still don't have the tab switcher button, I was able to get the tab menu gesture to work by going to Settings > Toolbar > and turning off Swipe-up to open tab switcher, then closing the browser and starting it again, before going back into Settings > Toolbar > and turning on Swipe-up to open tab switcher, then closing the browser and starting it once more and repeatedly rub up and down on the address bar.

This seems to be fixed for me in the latest version released yesterday. It lets me move the toolbar to the bottom, and when I do, the tab switcher button appears.

@possom2009 Can you confirm that this is fixed for you too with latest Kiwi v116 ?
