Hi,
Depending on what is the similarity, you may want to use an instance of GeometricSource or GaussianBeam. In the former case you set divergence directly, whereas in the latter case it is defined by the waist size.

in the instance of GeometricSource , do dxprime and dzprime represent divergence ? Are they measured in radians?

The definition of them is given the cited documentation.
The units are also given in the documentation.
