I have a large blueprint document to convert.
I get the error
"the use of carriage return(s) '\r' in source data isn't currently supported, please contact makers"
there is no indication of what like in the file this error first occurs in

Thank you for reporting! I have released v1.14.2 that prints error location (byte index, not line number).
You can also remove carriage return(s) with the following command in case of linux.
$ sed 's/\r//g' some_file.md > some_file2.md
