iptv simple client not working no kodi 21.0

On Windows, when I update Kodi 20.0 to Kodi 21.0 and the iptv simple client addon updates from version 20.13.0 to 21.8.4, adon stops working. I no longer have access to channels.

Can you trying clearing all your PVR data and see if that helps?

The only way I found to solve this problem was to downgrade to version 20.13.0 of the iptv simple client.
I have four devices with Kodi 21.0 installed. Three of them have version 20.13.0 and another one has version 21.8.4.
The impression I have is that when Kodi updates the version, and during installation, there is a plugin conversion process. iptv simple client updates to version 21.8.4 correctly. But if we have Kodi 21.0 without having completed the conversion process, it stops working.

You can also try deleting the TV and EPG data files. It’s possible they got corrupted

PVR manager does not start. It's no more than 0%.
I updated the iptv simple client from version 20.13.0 to version 21.8.4. I cleared the PVR data. It stopped working.

I downgraded the add-on to version 20 and it worked fine again

unfortunately I can't provide logs because at first I decided the problem was with the update process and just reinstalled LibreELEC 12 from scratch, but the PVR client behavior was the same so I had to rollback and install LibreELEC 11 where the version of PVR client works well

Ok, but then you understand I can’t do anything to help. The full debug log is required to debug the problem.

Hi, I was having the exact same issue and was able to deduce the root cause. It appears that using catchup with xtream codes is causing trouble (even with live TV). Disabling catchup resolves the issue. I want to provide a full debug log but I'm unable to since it requires me to configure an illegal IPTV service and was not able yet to reproduce without it. At least you have something where you can start looking.

I also have to mention that there is probably more than this issue. I started some widivine streams and all I got was SD while kodi nexus gives me full hd. What I'm trying to say is that these issues might not be IPTV simple but seem to me the inputstream helper.

Then please create an issue for the author of that add-on. It may be that the add-on has not been updated for Omega yet, but impossible to tell without the log.
