I have selected an older version of a corpus (in "All" list) and started a query. Changing now the list to "CorpusSelection", I still have selected the corpus in an older Version and can write further queries. I think this is a proper reaction, but it might be a bit confusing searching in a corpus without seeing it in the corpus list and marked as selected.
(When replicate this with a newest version of a corpus, it is also listed in the "CorpusSelection" list and marked as selected which is fine.)
A first idea: changing the corpus list might undo the selection (or only in the case of older corpus versions?) with some information/note for the user?

The effect is maybe more confusing, when selecting more than one corpus. It might be the case that a user would like to search in an older and a newer version of the same or different corpora. If the user stays only in the "All" list, it will be fine. Changing to the "CorpusSelection" list only shows the new version of a corpus marked as selected. But the older version in the all list remains selected too.
So it might be helpful to guide in some way the changing between the corpus lists in such cases.
