Remote Enterprise User cannot see any devices in adb devices #1079

The remote user cannot see devices on the command line with adb devices connected to my Mac. Do I have to do something additional to enable this?

To be sure:

  1. I am successfully able to view adb devices on the computer my Android phone is connected to:
    WhatsApp Image 2022-05-25 at 3 48 35 AM

But adb devices is empty on the remote machine.

  1. On my remote machine I can connect and view the Android Phone under Shared Devices section:

the ads connection is only initiated while viewing it.

I can see my phone on the remote machine, yet I cannot do adb devices on the remote machine
