When I change world with /mvtp <world> the world prefix isn't updated.

Are you using the %w feature in ChatSuite's formats or the world name insert feature from Multiverse?

Multiverse's works fine but you can't customise it e.g. the square brackets around it so I was using ChatSuite's.
