Option to shorten by element height

It would be nice if there was an option to shorten according to the element's height (or number of rows).

I want to shorten user comments which are lists like

1. Foo
2. Bar
3. Baz
   ...
4. Etc.

They don't use much text but much height.

Would be cool to shorten text if the element is higher than defined OR has more characters than slicePoint.

While I think that expanding/collapsing based on height is a great idea, it's out of scope for this plugin. You might want to check out the trunk8 plugin instead.
