Is this a BUG REPORT or FEATURE REQUEST?:
FEATURE REQUEST

What happened:
Support for deploying perl functions is not present in Kubeless.

What you expected to happen:
Just like, python, nodejs, golang and java, expecting support for deploying small functions written in perl.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
This is a feature request. Not really any bug to reproduced.

Anything else we need to know?:
N/A

Environment:

  • Kubernetes version (use kubectl version):
Client Version: v1.12.0, Server Version: v1.10.0

  • Kubeless version (use kubeless version):
    v1.0.0-alpha.8-16-ge48a7c96

  • Cloud provider or physical cluster: MiniKube

Thanks for the suggestion @stanguturi! We are open to PRs, if you want to give this a try we have a guide to add new runtimes that you can follow: https://kubeless.io/docs/implementing-new-runtime/

I submitted a pull request in #1014 but one check failed. https://circleci.com/gh/kubeless/kubeless/2418?utm_campaign=vcs-integration-link&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=github-build-link

I don't know how my patch will be causing that failure. Can I get any help?
