This was initially mentioned in #749 and hopefully addressed in kube-aws once the feature landed to K8S 1.8.

Seems like the certificate rotation is supported since k8s v1.8.0 and it is a matter of just adding -rotate-certificates=true to kubelet to enable it.

This is done in #1086 and #1108.
In nutshell, kubelet.rotateCerts: true enables the feature.
