What happened:

We have a few unnoticed security issues in the image that we built. Unfortunately, we do not have image scanning enabled in the official docker registry, so those went unnoticed until today. I will omit the details, but I will work on a fix for all the vulnerabilities.

This issue is considered done when:

  • We have a fix for all the vulnerabilities.
  • We have a way to figure out if an image is vulnerable before promoting a release.
