I had one small comment, but I'm not going to block this PR on it.

got := request.AdditionalSeatSeconds()
want := SeatsTimesDuration(5, 3*time.Second)
got := request.totalWork()
want := SeatsTimesDuration(3, 2*time.Second) + SeatsTimesDuration(50, 70*time.Second)

I consciously wanted to have a constant here, instead of computing it again in the test :)

I do not think this test should embed private knowledge of the SeatSecond representation details, rather this test should use the only constructor. OK with me to use a different but equivalent pair of parameters to that constructor.
