This looks like #107142 but with tests. We definitely want the tests as well.

Oh wow, I didn't see that PR. Thanks, @marckhouzam . It wasn't my intention to take over someone else's work. 🤔

Maybe the right thing to do would be accept the first PR, and then this one can be to add the tests...

I went ahead and lgtm'd and approved #107142. Since the code was almost identical to what I had. I'll convert this PR into unit tests only

OK, this PR is ready for review now...

Removed the code change (since it was duplicated with another PR), but left the unit tests.

This is nice! I hadn't figured out how to write these tests.

The Kubernetes project has merge-blocking tests that are currently too flaky to consistently pass.

This bot retests PRs for certain kubernetes repos according to the following rules:

  • The PR does have any do-not-merge/* labels
  • The PR does not have the needs-ok-to-test label
  • The PR is mergeable (does not have a needs-rebase label)
  • The PR is approved (has cncf-cla: yes, lgtm, approved labels)
  • The PR is failing tests required for merge
