The triage dashboard is hanging while filtering on tests

I'm having trouble searching the triage board for a particular test failure... filtering to a particular job works ok (https://storage.googleapis.com/k8s-gubernator/triage/index.html?ci=0&pr=1&job=pull-kubernetes-integration) but if I type in a test name (e.g. "TestVolumeBindingRescheduling"), it hangs

Some queries filter down fine, others appear to hang. This has been demonstrated across browsers (Chrome, FF, Safari). @BenTheElder has been looking into it with not much luck thus far

We are unsure if this is related to the triage job mysteriously repairing itself earlier this month (#8899)
