In my opinion, MML is too difficult for beginners. Would you consider making it into tracker or other more graphical music creation software?I know this is a big challenge for you, but if you do this, you will be able to fill the vacancy of many chip tracker software (such as ym2610), and everyone chiptuner will thank you.
My idea is that you can make a simple tracker, and then generate MML, which will be much more convenient for beginners. What do you think of it?

The step sequencer is obviously easier to get started than the tracker, and FamiStudio currently does this. I remember it was very difficult to create a nsf music 20 years ago, but with the development, it became easier and easier.

When I can understand and use mml2vgm proficiently, I think I can try to do this. I think it should be many years later.

At present, I found that there is a converter from midi to MML on github, and I feel very satisfied. When I am familiar with the various commands of mml2vgm, I can easily use midi as a basis for making music.
