Gallery-dl plugin still not functioning even with updated code. (**updated** plugin not working)

My current problem is that after a restart I updated to 4.1 the gallery-dl script no longer is functioning, I was specifically downloading images and gifs from sub reddits. I was trying to reverse the update but could not find the version before 4.1 which was something like 4.0e or f? And also trying the technical preview version along with 3.8f and 4.0 yielded the same results. Normally with the gallary-dl script the icon within the thumbnail should be of a question mark but it is the video recorder symbol just like default hitomi.

Also each download attempt is giving me and Invalid:[etc https://reddit.com/r/https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/1culjjn/my_cat_just_bit_the_corner_of_my_monitor_on_my/ , like this for example.

Lastly thank you for all you do with this plugin I would have not passed uni without it.

Gallery-dl updated their code, which caused that plugin to stop working.

It is still not working for me or for my friend even with the new downloaded script, I have tried the updated plugin on the technical preview and 4.1. I also had my friend on their pc try it and the plugin is still not functioning.
