Can you check that when you run Background Music the "Background Music" device gets set as your default audio device? I think it's in System Preferences > Sound > Output.
It's probably also worth trying a snapshot build as well, in case that helps.
@haazzzz That's a different issue, but have a look at #268 and search for issues with "teams". There's quite a few. Also, make sure you've got Teams configured to use the "Background Music" device.
