Currently there is no LICENSE file in this repo, making it default to All Rights Reserved, so it's not really "open source" even if the source is visible, because no freedoms are being granted to the users.

I would recommend choosing a license.

MIT license is fairly common for similar projects like the crkbd / corne keyboard, but you may want something copyleft like the GPL if you're concerned about people using your work and not keeping it free (as in freedom). The PocketVoltex controller project uses GPL-3.0.
