I have this same error, both when using a Microsoft HD-5000 webcam and aliexpress $15 HDMI capture device.

OS: Ubuntu 23.04 x64
Rust: 1.69.0

Tried different format requests: None and AbsoluteHighestResolution but none seem to work.
