Ladies of Code LDN | February 2017

This time we had two lovely speakers who talked about Golang!

A Go developer's notebook - presented by Eleanor McHugh

Ellie's talk contained a heady mix of Go code and publishing history. The talk aimed to inspire us both to learn a new programming language and to consider taking whatever our interests are and turning them into a book using the Leanpub self-publishing platform to help others learn from our experience.

London-based hacker Ellie is the sometime writer of "A Go Developer's Notebook". During the course of her career she's worked on mission critical systems ranging across avionics, control network automation, banking security and digital trust arbitration. Ellie is co-founder of Innovative Identity Solutions, a startup focused on driving innovation in digital identity and personal data privacy. As a responsible parent Ellie enjoys polyhedral dice, home brewing and gothic music.
