When there isn't enough room for the status-bar, there is undesirable horizontal scroll when navigating to code on the right side of the screen.
This allows the scroll to show the parts of the status bar that didn't fit ("Help" section in the screenshot).
This issue can easily arise when trying to demonstrate the responsive layout.

It would be better if on narrow layouts the status bar had collapsed into an "Options" menu that opens when clicking on it.
