Since this repo is only for the old add-on, I'm reporting here.

While the autodetection for German and English works after one or two words were written, you have to write at least seven or eight words in Russian in order that this add-on switches the language to Russian. This only started recently, so it worked fine in previous versions.

Observing in Firefox 66.0.2 with LanguageTool 2.1.9 on Ubuntu 18.10.

Could you please check your language settings in the browser (not the add-on) and see if they include Russian?

Nope, Russian isn't present.

Please add it any see it that helps.

This helps, but adding another language makes the browser more unique (see "Content language" in the details of the fingerprint test) and therefore easier to track.

Another solution is highly appreciated.

Are there any updates on this issue?

Curiously, it happens only with Russian. Just tried Italian and French – they were properly "autodetected".

Adding languages to Firefox' language settings is not a real solution, as described in my last post.
