Add logging (to remote backend)

As we distribute this demo, it will be useful to collect data from users on their experience, particularly what errors they run into so we can proactively fix bugs, and basic usage statistics (e.g. how long they run the demo for, how many times, on what hardware, IP address (for geolocation and corporate network identification).
