Steps to reproduce the issue:

webpack.mix.js

const mix = require('laravel-mix');

/*
 |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
 | Mix Asset Management
 |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
 |
 | Mix provides a clean, fluent API for defining some Webpack build steps
 | for your Laravel applications. By default, we are compiling the CSS
 | file for the application as well as bundling up all the JS files.
 |
 */

mix.js('resources/js/app.js', 'public/js')
    .postCss('resources/css/app.css', 'public/css', [
        require('postcss-import'),
        require('tailwindcss'),
    ])
    .webpackConfig(require('./webpack.config'));
mix.browserSync({
    host: 'testproject.test',
    open: false,
    proxy: 'nginx' // replace with your web server container
    // proxy: 'testproject_nginx_1'
});

Stacktrace & Additional info:

I have created a conf file for nginx, which works, because I can see http://testproject/ in my browser.

My nginx error logs are empty.
