Is there a way to install laravel / valet using macports?

for a reason I only want to use macports. is there a way to install valet using macports? nginx and dnsmasq are already installed.

Alright, and it seems that even though I installed nginx and dnsmasq when I run 'valet install', it will install nginx and dnsmasq again via homebrew huh?

Yes, if your versions of those applications aren't managed by Homebrew already, then Homebrew will install them when you install Valet.
