Can you help me on this? It seems like the library should be able to support it, but i don't even know how i should get started

Isn't canon_cr3 referred to as a library in this case?
Calling it "package" would maybe be more pythonic.

This part is obsolete, and crx decoding is not done yet. See libraw (binary only), not yet open source

Thank you very much for the quick answer!

I understood, that i can use libraw for the desired conversion. I found this thread, that mentions it will be available in the next release.
Can i already use the feature? Where should i look to find the required version?
