'learn submit' not updating on learn.co

I had begun the lab with my GitHub account configured. However I had not worked with the IDE yet, and my account email was set to private. When I opened the lab in the IDE it created a fork of the learn.co lesson. I went to submit my changes, which successfully committed to my fork, however the learn.co app never updated to show my progress, and I can not move to the next lesson. Am I doing something wrong, or do I require an instructor to review my changes before moving on…? Screenshots below.
