@umbri do you have a description of how you would envisage cancel working?

e.g. would it work if the scan/download methods returned an object with a cancel() method that cancelled all pending URL requests?

How to use it, for example, in table view? The image downloading cannot be canceled, so it cannot be used in tableView.
