Bug or Feature?

So first of all, the package does exactly the job it is supposed to do. There is only one thing really annoying me so much, that I uninstalled the package. Every time I mark a text for conversion and press the key combination, a message pops up: "The SwitchCase package is Alive! It's ALIVE!". This message doesn't disappear by itself, but stays on the screen until you press the shortcut again and blocks the mouse and other input until then. It would be Ok if this would happen once after the installation, but as a permanent pop up it's really annoying.
