Update parmeters and functions from "." to "_". #26

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Use "_" instead of "." in parameter and function names. Better practice.

Describe the solution you'd like
Will need to add in "deprecated" statements and such.

New function names to redirect to old names.
Include warnings.
Parameters; rename old ones.
Add existing "dot" parameters to end of parameter list.
Within functions redirect "dot" to "underscore" parameters.
Ensure within functions using "_" not ".".
