So, this is possibly a question more about HyRec than CLASS, but I can't find the answer anywhere I can see, so I figured I'd ask?
I'm trying to experiment with non-constant DM EoS at late times (based on the w_fld functions), and I noticed that it says that HyRec explicitly assumes w(a)= w0 + wa (1-a/a0) for DE. This implies to me that late-time dynamics play into that code more than I would have expected, and I'm wondering to what extent and by what mechanism modifications to the background dynamics made in CLASS are passed on to HyRec? For example, decaying dark matter--if the amount changes, does HyRec know automatically? Or do I need to go find the source code for HyRec and implement my modifications there myself? (If I should be using RecFast instead, the same questions stand).
