How often does your site rebuild to show new webmentions on your pages? Is there a reason not to use the client-side script provided by webmention.io to display webmentions you've received?

I ask because I'm joining the party and you were one of my first mentions. :bowtie:

Ooh nice! I looks like I removed webmentions in beab901 desperately trying to get my site to build again. I'll need to have another look.

I can't think of a good reason not to use the script, it was a while back. I think I was just short on time.

@rupl The good news is I can see your mention working on webmention.io. Now I just need to add webmention support back in, and tweak the display to look good... and redesign my site and stuff... 😀

Nice! Yeah I thought about using the Jekyll plugins available, but decided I didn't want to tie them to my site builds. I'll check back in 2022 after you redesign 😜
