It should be a version problem, try 3.1.8

@joannapiecuch And other people searching a solution. The 3.1.8 version actually is on NPM.
https://www.npmjs.com/package/vue-upload-component?activeTab=versions

If you want to install it you need to use the @next syntax

npm install vue-upload-component@next
