Unsupported URL protocol

I have the following code raise an Unsupported URL protocol on Remote.ConnectFetch with URL git@github.com:waneck/linux-ios-toolchain.git. This being a standard git clone URL I would expect it to work and call the credentials callback provided. Nothing changes when I use the URL in the ssh://format. Can you please kindly let me know what URL format should be used for Git over SSH?

For others who end up here searching for answers, you need to compile libgit2 with ssh support. This is not the default for the libgit2 provided by homebrew on OSX as of this writing, for example. For that case in particular, try brew install libgit2 --with-libssh2.
