Hi,
I try to backup my iphone with idevicebackup2 1.3.0 installed from the ubuntu repository (Ubuntu 22.04). I run iOS 15.6.1 on an Iphone 8.
I only get this far:
$ idevicebackup backup -u ceaa66c3a1a14b9ade8313acc136b8f9104f9144 ./
Backup directory is "./"
ERROR: Could not connect to lockdownd, error code -5
I doubt it is related to #294 because the solution there was to build the package and not use the outdated repository. In my case, the ubuntu repository seens to be up to date.
Any hint would be highly appreciated.

#294 is not related, because it was cause by lack (disabled) old SSL support, while ios 15 supports TLS 1.3, so it should work without issues even is ssl library is limited only to TLS 1.2 and higher protocol
Hi mexmer, I have to admit I wasn't aware I should pair the the device first, sorry 😅. I ran ifuse before running idevicebackup, works like a charm. Thank you!
