for the client:

  • track responses (derived from the ResponseStatus field of the AutoNAT protobuf)
  • our current status: unknown, public, private

for the server:

  • how many dial requests from other nodes are we rejecting because of our rate limiting
  • how many dials are successful / unsuccessful (might use the ResponseStatus we report back to the peer)
