When on Nitter clicking or open it on the new tab "open in Twitter" it always goes back to the instances
I don't know if this supposes to be like this, but it's not the case from previous version

This is verifiable and will be possibly made into v2.3.1 (Hotfix)

This issue is not exclusive to Nitter, libreddit's "reddit" button also redirects to another instance instead of the original Reddit page.

Try using the toggle redirects in tab context menu.

Did you try toggling as said ?

@EdwardLangdon I'm sure MintMain meant to wonder if this issue has been resolved yet, since you assured a new bugfixed version will come out as long #475 is closed. Until then, the extension is half-nonfunctional.

@Impeta & @MintMain21 I did assured about releasing hotfix but we are still working on it but Could you trying using the context menu for now, while we work on a smart auto bypass detection ?

The context menu thing does work, yeah. Regardless, take your time! You and ManeraKai are awesome enough for putting this brilliance of extension to shine even more. Hopefully everything works great for you both, and thank you for everything. 🤗

I see it is still there. I could replicate too.

It is because we are going to work on this, A better way to allow Bypass and not let something accidentally bypass LR. Currenlty using Toggles via Context menu or temporarly disabling redirects is better one.

This problem appears to be still prevalent. The milestone is set to v2.4.0 but the issue is closed. Did 4625aa0 genuinely fix redirect to original website bug?

@gokberkgunes It did fix. It was assigned to the milestone. We will release once all others in milestone is finished.
